Reolink OMVI 2i Ultra: Subscription-free security camera that never needs recharging

Reolink is currently showcasing a new range of smart-home security hardware at IFA Berlin 2026, one of which is the all-new OMVI 2i Ultra security camera, in addition to an upgraded ReoNeura AI platform. The company is positioning the camera as part of its "effortless" home protection devices, expanding its OMVI line with a wireless model aimed at closing gaps in outdoor coverage.

Beyond the camera, Reolink has expanded ReoNeura with a customizable detection feature, allowing users to train the system to flag scenarios specific to their property. This pairs with the new Home Hub 2, a subscription-free local storage device supporting natural-language footage search and broader smart-home integrations, including Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant. Home Hub 2 is said to manage up to eight cameras and support up to 16TB of external storage.
The OMVI 2i Ultra is scheduled for release in late October, with pricing expected to between $200-250. Reolink’s Home Hub 2 will also arrive around the same time for $199.99.
