IKEA has launched a new LED table lamp, the Grejsimojs, in countries across North America and Europe. This product has a playful, colorful design, with a replaceable light source. Plus, the dog-shaped lamp is dimmable and comes with a smart memory function to enhance the user experience.

The IKEA Grejsimojs LED table lamp, dimmable/dog blue is now available in various countries worldwide. Described by the company as a “child-safe friend that’s there both day and night”, this decorative light resembles a dog sitting down.

The Grejsimojs LED table lamp has a replaceable light source, which should run for around 25,000 hours; that is equivalent to approximately 20 years when used for three hours daily. The white, glare-free LED can generate up to 100 lumens of brightness, and has a color temperature of 2,700K.

IKEA’s Grejsimojs LED table lamp is dimmable, with users able to adjust the brightness level using a button on the dog’s head. Plus, a smart memory feature ensures that the lamp maintains the previous brightness level when switched back on. It has a blue plastic body, measuring 27 x 30 x 18 cm (~10.6 x 11.8 x 7.1 inches), with a 2.0 m (~6.6 ft) long power cord.

You can now buy the IKEA Grejsimojs LED table lamp in countries like the US, the UK and Sweden for $39.99/£19.00/SEK 299. It is expected to be released more widely in the EU on January 31st.
