New powered by Shelly LED downlight now available

The LightSolutions Hilux DS8 Tilt 360 ShellyX LED downlight is now available at the Shelly store in Europe. This ‘Powered by Shelly’ smart lighting product, which is said to have an “elegant Scandinavian design”, was on show at IFA 2025

The Hilux DS8 Tilt 360 is designed to be installed directly into a ceiling. Thanks to the design of the aluminum casing, you can adjust the angle of the light source to suit your needs. The full spectrum LED has a high color rendering index, and its color temperature is tunable between 2,200K and 6,000K. At 6,000K, the spotlight delivers 600 lumens brightness, while at 2,200K, the maximum brightness is 360 lumens. This 8W bulb is dimmable and is expected to run for around 50,000 hours.

LightSolutions’ Hilux DS8 Tilt 360 is powered by Shelly, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It does not require a hub, and is fully compatible with Shelly BLU devices like the Button 1 (curr. $17.99 at Amazon). At the Shelly online store in countries like the UK, the Netherlands and Spain, you can now buy the LightSolutions Hilux DS8 Tilt 360 ShellyX for £34.20/€45.98. Whether or when this product could be released in the US remains to be seen.
