Philips Hue Bridge update: New release brings minor improvements

Philips Hue has issued two new updates for the Hue Bridge Pro and the Hue Bridge v2. This is the third software release for these smart hubs in 2026, following an earlier update which prepared the devices for the recently launched Automation related tool.
For the Philips Hue Bridge Pro, software version 2071223010 is rolling out. For users of the Hue Bridge V2, it is software version 1975170000. These are relatively small updates with identical change logs pointing to “small changes behind the scenes”. Users have yet to report any quietly added functionality upon receiving either update.
Users of the Philips Hue Bridge Pro (curr. $98.99 at Amazon) are still waiting for the new SpatialAware feature to arrive. Announced in January 2026, the feature will enhance preset lighting scenes, taking into account their relative position in a room. This Hue Bridge Pro exclusive feature is scheduled to arrive in Spring 2026, so anytime from March.
As per usual, Philips Hue Bridge Pro software version 2071223010 and Hue Bridge V2 software version 1975170000 will be pushed to users automatically via the brand’s app. You can check that you have these updates enabled by going to Settings > Software update > Automatic update. The rollout of these releases should be complete before the end of February 2026.
