New Xiaomi Self-Install Smart Lock now available in Europe

Xiaomi’s Self-Install Smart Lock has appeared at some European retailers. This product was spotted on the brand’s global website in October 2025 and has since been released in countries like Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
Now, at Galaxus in countries such as France and Germany, you can order the Xiaomi Self-Install Smart Lock for around €145-153, or a second kit with a keypad accessory for €179-189. Deliveries are currently estimated for mid to late February 2026. Plus, at Italian retailer Trippodo, the product can be purchased for €121.
The Xiaomi Self-Install Smart Lock, also referred to as model BHR07XDGL, is designed to work with an existing lock. It can house a physical key or a door lock knob, automatically turning these when the device is successfully unlocked. Unlocking methods include fingerprint, permanent or temporary passwords, Bluetooth and voice controls. Users can remotely manage the device via the Xiaomi Home app, where they can check the lock’s current status.
Xiaomi’s Self-Install Smart Lock also offers features like anti-tamper alerts and automatic locking. Plus, support for Matter means it should integrate with a range of smart home ecosystems. Xiaomi suggests that the product is relatively easy to fit to your door, with no drilling required. It is unclear when Xiaomi will officially launch the Self-Install Smart Lock in Europe.
