Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra and K Pad 2 tipped to feature Bose-tuned speakers

The Xiaomi Redmi K90 series debuted in October 2025, featuring the standard Redmi K90 and the K90 Pro Max. One of the highlights of the series was the Bose-tuned audio system. Specifically, the K90 Pro Max featured a Bose-powered 2.1-channel sound system with a subwoofer. Now, a new leak has surfaced suggesting that more Redmi devices will use Bose-tuned speakers.
According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Redmi K90 Ultra and the Redmi K Pad 2 will both feature Bose-tuned speakers, with the K90 Ultra potentially using a three-speaker setup (JBL Go 4 Bluetooth speaker curr. $40 on Amazon). For those unaware, the K90 Ultra is expected to be the upcoming top-of-the-line model in the K90 lineup.
Leaks point to a performance-focused approach with an overclocked MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset and a built-in cooling fan. The phone may pack a battery around 8,500mAh with 100W fast charging support.
Meanwhile, the Redmi K Pad 2 is expected to be a compact tablet featuring an 8.8-inch LCD panel with a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is also said to have a battery close to 9,000mAh.
The tablet is expected to launch in H1 2026 in China. For reference, the Redmi K Pad (predecessor to the K Pad 2) launched as the Xiaomi Pad Mini in international markets. Hence, we could see the K Pad 2 in the global market as well, albeit with different branding.
