Xiaomi leaks European price of Poco X8 Pro (Max) with up to 8,500 mAh battery

While Xiaomi has not yet officially commented on the launch of the Poco X8 Pro and the Poco X8 Pro Max, both devices are now listed at Xiaomi Belgien, including their prices in euros. According to the listing, the mid-range smartphones will be offered at the following prices:
- Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro (8 GB | 256 GB): €399
- Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro (8 GB | 512 GB): €449
- Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro (12 GB | 512 GB): €479
- Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max (12 GB | 256 GB): €529
- Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro Max (12 GB | 512 GB): €579
This makes the mid-range smartphones more expensive than their counterparts in China, as the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which is practically identical to the Poco X8 Pro Max, costs the equivalent of only €265 in China. Rumors also suggest that the batteries in the European version will be slightly smaller, but with a capacity of 6,500 mAh for the Poco X8 Pro and 8,500 mAh for the larger Poco X8 Pro Max, the battery capacity is still comparatively high. Despite the higher price and battery downgrade, the smartphones promise an attractive price-performance ratio.

The Poco X8 Pro is expected to feature a fast MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, a 6.59-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak HDR brightness of 3,200 nits, and a 50MP f/1.5 main camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor, accompanied by an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera.
The Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to be slightly larger with a 6.83-inch display, while the top-of-the-line model, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s, should achieve near-flagship performance. The camera setup of both models is identical. When the two mid-range smartphones will be launched remains unknown.
