Xiaomi Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max appear in leaked renders ahead of global launch

Xiaomi is expected to launch two new mid-range smartphones globally. The Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max have previously been certified by regulatory bodies and also surfaced on Geekbench. Now, a fresh leak reveals the design of both smartphones in multiple color options.
The leaked renders were shared by user @passionategkeez on X. Both smartphones are shown in three color options, including black, white, and blue. They share a similar design language with a pill-shaped module featuring a dual-camera setup.
However, one visible difference is that the Poco X8 Pro Max has a dual-LED setup, while the Pro model sticks with a single-LED setup. Both devices look similar from the front as well, with uniform display bezels and a center-aligned punch-hole cutout.
Expected specifications of the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max
Previous leaks have pointed out that the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max will be rebranded versions of the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max, and the leaked renders also appear to corroborate this.
As for specifications, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display. It may feature the Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, with the Geekbench listing hinting at around 7% faster single-core performance but similar multi-core results compared to the Poco X7 Pro. Additionally, the phone is rumored to use a 6,500mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Poco X8 Pro Max is expected to feature a larger 6.83-inch OLED screen. Similar to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, it may use the Dimensity 9500s chipset. It may feature an 8,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging support (25K Anker powerbank curr. $120 on Amazon). Currently, there is no official release date for the Poco X8 series.
