Xiaomi 17: New leak confirms all hardware details before global release

It looks like Xiaomi is weeks away from releasing some of its latest flagships globally. At the end of last month, retail pricing for the Xiaomi 17 emerged within the Eurozone. Shortly afterwards, equivalent information surfaced about the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. At the same time, a leaker outlined Xiaomi's global release plans for both smartphones.
Now, Sudhanshu Ambhore has published an official-looking one-pager concerning the smaller Xiaomi 17. Shared on X, the image is said to have been translated from another language into English. Nonetheless, all key details should be accurate. Thus, the Xiaomi 17 should surpass its global predecessor (curr. $817 on Amazon) with improvements like a 20% larger battery and a 9% brighter display.
With that being said, the leak reiterates that the Xiaomi 17 will ship with a 10% smaller battery globally than in China. Moreover, the image confirms that Xiaomi will sell four colour options and two memory configurations outside China. An exact release date remains unknown for now. However, Xiaomi is expected to present the Xiaomi 17 globally before the beginning of March with €1,099 (~$1,299) launch pricing for the device's 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variant.
