Xiaomi confirms new compact gaming tablet will receive global release

`Xiaomi is edging towards launching a new Black Shark tablet. Teased at the end of last year, the tablet has not been released anywhere yet. However, the Black Shark Gaming Tablet has now been added to Black Shark's global website. Until now, Xiaomi had only offered sparse details about the device.
Now, it has confirmed all key technical specifications, including the previously teased Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets also found in the Pad 7 Pro (curr. $469.50 on Amazon). A 4 nm chipset, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 powers an 8.8-inch, 2.5K and 144 Hz IPS display with 600 nits peak brightness. Also, the new tablet boasts 5 MP selfie and 13 MP rear-facing cameras, as well as stereo speakers and 3D spatial audio support.
Additionally, Xiaomi includes 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, 256 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage and a 7,300 mAh battery. The Black Shark Gaming Tablet comes in two finishes, described simply as black and silver.
