Legion Y700: Lenovo officially confirms next-gen compact Android gaming tablet

A previous leak suggested that Lenovo would launch a new tablet under its gaming-focused Legion lineup in H1 2026. The company has now officially confirmed the new tablet, the next-generation Legion Y700.
On the Chinese social media site Weibo, the company has teased the design of the new Legion Y700 tablet. The two promo images show the tablet in black and white color options. The tablet appears to have a single rear camera along with an RGB ring light. However, the company did not reveal any further details.

Prominent tipster Digital Chat Station describes the Legion Y700 (2026) as a compact tablet featuring an 8.8-inch LCD panel with a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Performance is expected to be a key focus, as it is tipped to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
Additionally, the tablet may pack an approximately 9,000mAh battery (20K Ugreen powerbank curr. $38 on Amazon) and have a 50MP rear camera.
According to the tipster, the new Legion Y700 (2026) will be released in March. Do note that this launch information is specific to the Chinese market, and currently, there is no information on global availability.
