Lenovo has released the IdeaPad Pro 5a Gen 11 across Europe and other markets like Australia. Not showcased during CES 2026 alongside the IdeaPad Pro 5i Gen 11, the IdeaPad Pro 5a Gen 11 ditches Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series GPUs found in Gen 10 models (curr. $1,139 on Amazon). Instead, Lenovo equips the IdeaPad Pro 5a Gen 11 with AMD Gorgon Point APUs.
Additionally, new Gen 11 models feature 2.8K, 120 Hz and 1,100-nit AMOLED displays, M.2 2242 storage and LPDDR5X-8533 RAM. Also, Lenovo provides Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7 connectivity options and 24 GB or 32 GB of RAM. Moreover, while 14-inch models come exclusively with 92.5 Wh batteries, 16-inch variants can be configured with 84 Wh or 99.9 Wh batteries.
The IdeaPad Pro 5a Gen 11 starts at £1,300/€1,169/AU$2,379 as a 14-inch edition with a Ryzen AI 7 450, 24 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. Please note that UK and Eurozone configurations can be optioned without a power adapter or an operating system. For reference, Lenovo charges €10 and €40 for the latter two, respectively. Alternatively, the same 14-inch model can be configured with up to a Ryzen AI 9 465, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, a 100 W charger and a Windows 11 Pro licence for £1,600/€1,449/AU$2,799.
Meanwhile, Lenovo's 16-inch variant starts at £1,290/€1,509/AU$2,429 with broadly the same configuration as its 14-inch counterpart but with an 84 Wh battery. Conversely, Lenovo's larger IdeaPad Pro 5a Gen 11 can be priced up to £1,620/€1,839/AU$2,888 with a Ryzen AI 9 465, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, a 100 W charger and a Windows 11 Pro licence too. Incidentally, a 99 Wh battery can be optioned for a £10/€10/AU$39 surcharge.
