The new Legion 5a is now available to purchase across Europe following its debut earlier this month at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. To recap, Lenovo's 11th generation release maintains the same understated design as its 10th generation counterpart (curr. $1,069 on Amazon).
However, the Legion 5a Gen 11 weighs slightly less than its predecessor at 1.88 kg vs 1.93 kg. Nonetheless, the new model retains an 80 Wh battery, a keyboard with 1.6 mm of travel and a 15.3-inch OLED display combining a 1600p resolution with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response times. Moreover, Lenovo has upgraded the Legion 5a to AMD's Gorgon Point architecture while retaining up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU.
The older Ryzen 7 250 remains available too from £1,159 (~$1,599) in the UK and €1,559 (~$1,863) in the Eurozone. Meanwhile, Gorgon Point variants start at £1,519 (~$2,095) in the UK and €1,599 (~$1,910) in the Eurozone. For those prices, Lenovo includes a Ryzen AI 7 450 APU, 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage and a GeForce RTX 5050 GPU. Also, these prices do not include a Windows 11 licence or a power adapter.
Alternatively, one can configure the laptop with a variety of options up to and including a Ryzen AI 9 465 variant complemented by a GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. Priced at £2,050 (~$2,829) or €2,199 (~$2,627), this configuration also features 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, a 24-zone RGB keyboard, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity and a Windows 11 Pro. The Legion 5a Gen 11 should reach North America in April, starting at $1,499.
