Legion Y700 Gen 5: New gaming tablet teased in official Lenovo promotional video

Lenovo continues to tease its new Legion Y700 tablet on Chinese social media. To recap, Lenovo's fifth-generation gaming tablet has been rumoured since November. However, it took until February 2 for Lenovo to officially acknowledge the tablet's existence.
Now, the company has shared a short promotional video summarising the successes of the Legion Y700 series so far. Embedded below, the video highlights the direction that Lenovo is headed with the Legion Y700 Gen 5. For instance, the company focuses on the versatility of previous generations thanks to its portability, dual USB Type-C ports and bypass charging.
As a result, it seems likely that these aspects will return for Lenovo's Gen 5 tablet. Likewise, a single 50 MP rear-facing camera has been confirmed again. It remains to be seen whether this will be the same sensor found in its Gen 4 predecessor, though.
Undoubtedly, 'AI' will play a strong part in the tablet too, which Lenovo currently markets as the 'AI Tablet Legion Y700' rather than the Legion Y700 Gen 5. In practical terms, that marketing should correlate with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset that already powers flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 15 (curr. $899.99 on Amazon). Presumably, Lenovo will continue to drip-feed more details in the next few days, with the tablet now earmarked as 'coming soon'.
