The new IKEA smart home sensors, bulbs and remote controls are now available at the brand’s online stores in two more European countries. All of these products work with the IKEA Dirigera hub and support the Matter smart home protocol. The range includes a motion sensor, spotlight bulbs and a scroll wheel remote.

IKEA’s new Matter-compatible smart home product range is now available online in more countries. These devices are already available at the brand’s online store in select markets like Sweden and Czechia. Plus, they were recently spotted in physical IKEA stores in the Netherlands, Spain and Germany.

Now, the IKEA smart bulbs, sensors and remote controls can also be purchased online in France and Germany. All of these products are designed to connect with the brand’s Dirigera hub, with controls available through the IKEA Home smart app. Plus, support for the Matter smart home standard means that they will integrate with a wide range of ecosystems, including Apple Home, Home Assistant and Google Home.

The new IKEA smart sensors include the Alpstuga Air quality sensor, which is listed for €29.99 in France and €39.99 in Germany. The other four sensors - the Klippbok Water leakage sensor, the Myggbett Door/window sensor, the Myggspray Motion sensor and the Timmerflotte Temperature and humidity sensor - each retail for €7.99 in France and €9.99 in Germany.

The IKEA Kajplats smart LED bulbs start from €7.99 in France and €6.99 in Germany. Various types of bulbs are on offer, such as E27, E14 and GU10, with white spectrum and color/white spectrum options, and a range of maximum brightness levels. The final two products are the Bilresa Remote controls, with dual-button and scroll wheel versions priced at €6.99 and €9.99, respectively, in France, and €4.99 and €6.99, respectively, in Germany.

When IKEA announced these products in November 2025, it indicated that the official release window was January 2026, when they could reach more markets like the US and the UK.
