Govee has released the Pendant Light in the US and some European countries. This smart light was shown at CES 2025 at the start of the year, and was subsequently spotted as a Matter certified device in the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) database.
The Pendant Light is designed to be placed above a dining table or a kitchen counter. It has an LED light source with three independently controllable segments - side, curved and bottom - producing layered lighting effects. It delivers up to 1,300 lumens brightness, and users can choose from 16 million colors. Plus, the light offers a color temperature range of 2,700 to 6,500 K. Controls are available through the Govee Home app, where you can also choose from a wide range of preset scenes to suit your mood.
Alternatively, you can control the Govee Pendant Light with Google Assistant or Alexa voice commands, and Matter compatibility allows it to integrate with various smart home ecosystems. On top of that, you can sync up to eight Govee products with DreamView for an immersive lighting experience. At 2.4 kg (~5.3 lbs), Govee suggests that its Pendant Light is relatively easy to install. It measures 11.8 x 11.8 x 6.7 inches (~300 x 300 x 171 mm), and has a black outer, wire and base plate.
You can now buy a 1-pack of the Govee Pendant Light for $149.99 at the brand’s online store in the US, with a 2-Pack priced at $279.99. However, at Amazon, customers are offered $37 off the 1-pack, reducing the price to $112.99. In European countries like Germany, the 1-pack and 2-pack are priced at €169.99 and €319.99, respectively. Similarly, at Amazon, a voucher lowers the price of the single unit to €135.99.
