Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro with HDR triple-camera now available

Govee has released the TV Backlight 3 Pro in markets worldwide. This product was unveiled at IFA 2025 alongside other products like the Curtain Lights Pro and the Star Light Projector (Nebula).

You can now buy the Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro for 55-65 inch TVs in markets like the US, the UK and the EU for $179.99/£199.99/€199.99. The larger version, for 75-85 inch TVs, is more expensive at $209.99/£219.99/€219.99.

The Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro has two elements. The first is a smart LED strip light that sits behind your TV, throwing white and colored light onto the wall behind you. It is highly dense, with 75 LEDs per 1 m (~3.3 ft), generating 337 lumens per 1 m (~3.3 ft). The second is an HDR triple-camera, which detects the content on your TV with 1080p/30 fps processing. This enables the lighting effects to sync to whatever you are watching. 

There is an AI feature to adjust the colors of the lighting based on the genre of the movie or TV show. Plus, with DreamView, you can sync up to ten smart lights throughout your home for an even more immersive experience. Other features include automatic power off, support for voice commands and compatibility with the Matter smart home protocol.
