The Govee Pendant Light has appeared in the Connectivity Standards Alliance (CSA) certified products database. The CSA is responsible for the rollout and maintenance of smart home standards such as Zigbee and Matter.
Govee’s upcoming Pendant Light was on show at CES 2025 alongside other products like the recently released Gaming Light Bars Pro (curr. $119.99 at Amazon). The recent CSA listing indicates that it could be nearing release. It also confirms that the device will offer Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity with support for Matter 1.3, meaning it will integrate with a wide range of smart home ecosystems.
The Pendant Light will offer white and colored lighting effects, with controls available via the Govee Home app. Photos of the Govee Pendant Light show that it has a rounded dome shape with a transparent outer. The inner casing and cable are black for a minimal finish.
It is unclear when the Govee Pendant Light will launch and how much it will cost. However, a report by Matter Alpha suggests that Govee will share more details about the release of the Pendant Light in Q3, sometime between July and September 2025. It is therefore likely that the product will launch before the end of 2025.
