Govee smart ceiling light with dynamic color modes launches with discount
Just a few days after launching the Govee 21-inch Smart Ceiling Light Ultra, which is capable of displaying pixel art, Govee has added another model to its product lineup.
Designed for ceiling or wall installation, the Govee 18-inch Ceiling Light Pro is now available directly from the manufacturer. Listed at an MSRP of $169.99 / €149.99, it is significantly more affordable than the Ultra model, though it does offer slightly fewer features. There is currently even a $34 / €30 discount when you purchase the light through Amazon.
Govee packs a total of 200 LEDs into the Ceiling Light Pro, which measures a substantial 18 inches (43 cm) in diameter. According to the company, the device is suitable for rooms ranging from 20 to 30 sqm (215 to 323 sqft), capable of brightly illuminating spaces or filling them with your desired colors. For white light, the Ceiling Light Pro can deliver up to 4,800 lumens and offers a continuously adjustable color temperature range from 2,700K to 6,500K (cool to warm white).
Thanks to its integrated RGBICWW LEDs, Govee’s round ceiling light can display millions of colors – even multiple colors at once if you prefer. Besides custom dynamic color schemes, it can also illuminate the surrounding ceiling area.
The Ceiling Light Pro includes 100 different scene modes, along with the ability to sync to music in Music mode or to other Govee lights via DreamView. Govee products are known for their extensive connectivity, and the Smart Ceiling Light Pro is no exception, offering seamless integration with smart home systems such as Matter, Alexa, Google and SmartThings.
