Epson launching new wireless printer with smart features

The Epson L3351 Color Wireless Multifunction Printer has been launched in China. This model offers printing, scanning and copying functionality. It is part of a new wider range of printers for this market which were recently unveiled by the brand.
Epson’s L3351 offers a 5,760 dpi full-color output, and it uses an upgraded ink tube, which is said to prevent clogging. The wider paper feed tray with a curved design should help to keep the paper flat and prevent paper feed issues. This model also supports Epson’s extra-large ink bottles, which should allow you to print 4,500 pages in black and white, or 7,500 pages in color. Users can check on the ink levels using the indicator on the front of the device. On top of this, the printer’s maintenance box is designed to be replaced by the user, removing the need to visit a repair shop.
The L3351 printer from Epson also offers smart features. These include the ability to remotely print from your smartphone via Epson Connect. Plus, the company’s e-care adaptive printhead maintenance technology will intelligently adjust the cleaning frequency of the printhead based on usage habits. This Epson printer has a compact body, measuring 361 x 317 x 162 mm (~14.2 x 12.5 x 6.4 inches).
In China, the Epson L3351 Color Wireless Multifunction Printer retails for CNY 1,899 (~$279). It is unclear when a version of this model could be released in other markets like the US, where a wide range of models, including the EcoTank ET-2803 Wireless Color All-in-One Printer (curr. $179 at Amazon), are already available.
