Bluetti launches Balco series plug-and-play solar system alongside Balco Transfer Hub

Bluetti has introduced its latest Balco series plug-and-play solar system at a launch event in Paris. In addition to this, the company has also launched the Balco Transfer Hub at the launch event. It’s a smart grid-tied controller, enabling users to build a compliant balcony solar system with their camping portable power stations.
Bluetti has introduced two models under the Balco series, namely, the Balco 260 and the Balco 500. According to the company, the Balco 260 delivers up to 2,300 W total output via its off-grid outlet when combining battery storage with grid input. While the Balco 500 has a slightly larger output than the former, providing 3,680 W of maximum output. The Balco 500 features a high-voltage MPPT design (70-140 V), capturing 4,300 W of solar for streamlined wiring and maximum efficiency.
Interestingly, the Balco series is expandable and can be used to form a distributed energy network throughout the home. Speaking of numbers, the Balco 260 can be paired with up to 6 units, offering 15 kWh of capacity and 14.4 kW of solar input. On the other hand, the Balco 500 can grow from 5 kWh to an impressive 30 kWh. Furthermore, each unit can power nearby devices independently or work together as a coordinated system, thanks to the Bluetti Space feature.
Moreover, the Balco series is also controlled by external platforms such as Shelly, Everhome, and smart home systems, including Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Home Assistant. There is no information on its pricing and availability at the time of writing. However, the Balco series will roll out through its official channels and selected partners, said Bluetti in its press release. For more details, head over to Bluetti's official website.
