The DJI Power 1000 Mini portable power station has been launched in China. It arrives a few months after the brand released the DJI Power 1000 V2 (curr. $699.00 at Amazon), which landed in regions including Europe in July 2025.
DJI’s new Power 1000 Mini is said to be the brand’s “most portable device”. It is smaller than its predecessor, measuring 314 x 212 x 216 mm (~12.4 x 8.3 x 8.5 inches) and weighing 11.5 kg (~25.4 lbs); for context, the Power 1000 V2 measures 448 x 225 x 230 mm (~17.6 x 8.9 x 9.1 inches) and weighs 14.2 kg (~31.3 lbs).
Like its predecessor, the Power 1000 Mini has an around 1,000 Wh capacity lithium iron phosphate battery, said to retain at least 80% capacity after 4,000 cycles. Thanks to fast charging technology, users can fully recharge the power station in 75 minutes, with an 80% charge taking less than an hour. Charging methods include AC, USB-C and solar inputs.
A new feature of the DJI Power 1000 Mini portable power station is a retractable USB-C cable, offering up to 100W power. Other outputs include one 100W USB-C port, two 12W USB-A ports and two AC outputs. This means that it has half the number of AC output ports as the Power 1000 V2. The maximum output power is 1,000W, and it supports a 800W continuous load. Plus, there is a built-in LED light and an integrated handle to make it easier to transport.
In China, the DJI Power 1000 Mini retails for CNY 2,499 (~$359). It remains to be seen when this portable power station could be released in other markets like North America or Europe.
