Hisense has released another RGB MiniLED TV in China: the E8S Series. This new model was revealed a few months after the company launched the E8S Pro, another RGB MiniLED TV, in this market.
The Hisense E8S is a 4K TV with a native 180Hz refresh rate, available in three larger sizes: 75 inches, 85 inches and 100 inches. According to the company, these TVs cover 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut, and the 100-inch model is said to have 9,360 local dimming zones. Each size features the brand’s Obsidian Screen Pro, which apparently reflects just 1.8% of light, making it suitable for use in a bright space.
For gaming, the Hisense E8S has four HDMI 2.1 ports supporting a maximum bandwidth of 48 Gbps, and it is 180Hz AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certified. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, and the model has an integrated 4.2.2 channel sound system tuned by Devialet. This TV is marketed as having an ultra-thin body, with users able to mount the model almost flush to the wall, or to place it on a media unit with the accompanying stand.
In China, the Hisense E8S RGB MiniLED TV starts from CNY 12,999 (~$1,865) for the 75-inch version. In other countries, it appears that this model will be known as the UR8, which was announced at CES 2026 alongside the UR9, which could be the international version of the E8S Pro. They will join Hisense’s current range of RGB MiniLED TVs, which includes the 100UX (curr. $9,999.99 at Amazon Marketplace).
