Retroid has restocked its Dual Screen Add-on accessory after being out of stock for a while. However, buyers are limited to only one color option, while the variant for non-Retroid devices is still out of stock.

A few weeks ago, we reported that Retroid's Dual Screen Add-on accessory that adds a second display to compatible handhelds was sold out. Now, the accessory is back in stock, but in limited options.

The product page for the Retroid Dual Screen Add-on now says the accessory is available. However, it is only available in GC (purple) as the Black and Translucent White variants are reportedly still sold out. Price for the Dual Screen Add-on remains unchanged at $69 excluding shipping.

The Retroid Dual Screen Add-on adds a second screen that sits above compatible handhelds such as the Retroid Pocket 5 and the Retroid Pocket G2, effectively turning them ino dual-screen handhelds such as the AYN Thor. Retroid has also shown that it is compatible with its current flagship handheld, the Retroid Pocket 6.

The accessory connects via a USB-C cable to the handheld and practically turns your device into a modern day Nintendo DS or Nintendo 3DS. Retroid also sells a version of the Dual Screen Add-on that is compatible with non-Retroid handhelds, but it is currently out of stock.
