Since the Retroid Pocket 6 was first announced in October, Retroid has only shared renders of the Android handheld. Now, for the first time, it has provided actual images of the Pocket 6. Although the images show only two of the six colors the handheld comes in, they are actually of the two different designs available.
The Retroid Pocket 6 is available in two designs — one with the D-Pad at the top and another with the D-Pad at the bottom. The real product images shared on its social media channel are of the Black and Orange color variants, although the latter seems to be yellow like the Konkr Pocket Fit.
The Black variant has its D-Pad at the top, while the yellow variant has its D-Pad at the bottom. In addition to showing the front, the photos also show the back of the handheld and the bottom, giving us a good look at the air vents, back buttons, and ports.
The Retroid Pocket 6 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and is available with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There is also a 12GB RAM version with 256GB of storage. The handheld also features a 6,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.3. According to the spec sheet, it will ship with Android 13.
The Retroid Pocket 6 is expected to begin shipping in January 2026 to those who purchased it during the first batch of pre-orders. Retroid has begun accepting a second batch of pre-orders, which will begin to ship in March.
