Ayaneo has revealed that its upcoming Windows handheld, the Next II, will be launched on Indiegogo. It has begun accepting registrations for the handheld, with a promise of an early bird discount for those who register.

The Ayaneo Next II is an upcoming Windows gaming handheld that is expected to launch soon. During Ayaneo's last sharing session for the handheld, it didn't reveal details about availability. However, a new post on its social media account has provided an important detail.

Posting via its official X account, Ayaneo has announced that interested buyers can now register their interest in the device to get an Early Bird discount. The post includes a link to an Indiegogo page, thus revealing that Ayaneo plans to raise funds from backers before the device is released.

The decision to create a crowdfunding campaign for the Next II shouldn't be surprising, as this is practically Ayaneo's strategy for several of its handhelds, including entry-level models such as the Ayaneo Pocket Air Mini.

With the Indiegogo campaign preview page now live, it is only a matter of time before the campaign goes live, and when that happens, we should know how much the Ayaneo Next II costs in comparison to other Windows handhelds.

The Ayaneo Next II will have a 9.06-inch OLED screen with a 2400 × 1504 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under its hood is an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor, but the RAM and storage configurations are currently unknown. The handheld also features a floating 8-way D-Pad, and Hall Effect joysticks and triggers with trigger locks. It will also have dual cooling fans, stereo front speakers, dual smart touchpads, a massive 115Wh battery, and will ship with the custom AYASpace software.
