Mangmi has been releasing details of its upcoming handheld, the Pocket Max, in bits. Just a few days ago, it revealed the handheld's design in detail, alongside its display specifications. Now, it has followed it up with images showing the device in two new colors.
Based on information provided earlier, it is already known that the Pocket Max will launch in Black. Now, Mangmi has shared photos of the Pocket Max in two additional colors — White and Retro GB. All three colors have a glass front that extends beyond the display.
With respect to buttons and triggers, the Black version has matching buttons and triggers, while the action buttons have orange markings. The same applies to the White version, but the Retro GB version, which is similar to that of the Mangmi Air X, opts for black thumbsticks, while the D-Pad, triggers, and shoulder buttons are burgundy.
So far, Mangmi has only confirmed the display specifications of the Mangmi Pocket Max. The handheld will have a 7-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a Full HD resolution. The display is reported to have HDR support, a 100,000:1 contrast ratio, and a 155% sRGB color gamut.
It is expected that Mangmi will provide additional details such as the processor, RAM, storage, and battery capacity as time goes on. However, it remains to be seen if all of these details will be revealed before the end of 2025, or if we will have to wait until 2026 to get the full picture.
