Mangmi has reposted the details of the processor of the Pocket Max. Just like yesterday's deleted post, the Pocket Max will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. The post also states that the handheld will be capable of emulating retro games, playing Android games, and can also be used for streaming and cloud gaming. However, the new post doesn't mention the RAM and storage.

Original article continues as follows:

Mangmi has been teasing its upcoming handheld, the Pocket Max, by releasing its details in bits. However, earlier today, it shared a few key details including the processor on X, but proceeded to delete the post shortly afterward. Thankfully, someone on Reddit saved the post before it was deleted.

According to the now-deleted post, the Mangmi Pocket Max will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor, the same one inside the Retroid Pocket 5 and the AYN Thor Lite. While it is a capable processor, it has begun showing its age, especially considering the time it is launching. However, if the price is as competitive as that of the Mangmi Air X, then it won't be such a bummer.

Retroid currently sells the Pocket 5 for $199, and alongside the Snapdragon 865 processor, it also has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, like the Pocket Max. Although its 5.5-inch 60Hz OLED display is no match for the Mangmi Pocket Max's 7-inch 144Hz OLED display.

It is not clear why Mangmi deleted the post, but there are speculations that there might be other SKUs with a more powerful chipset, and possibly more RAM and storage. That wouldn't be unusual as other manufacturers such as AYN, Ayaneo, and Retroid do the same, too. Whether that will be the case with the Mangmi Pocket Max remains to be seen.

There are still a handful of details about the Pocket Max that are still unknown, such as the battery capacity, charging speed, Android version, and the chief of them all — the price. Hopefully, all of these details will be revealed before the end of the month.
