OnePlus recently confirmed that it's working on a new series, called Turbo. The first phone from this lineup is expected to launch soon, but the brand hasn't officially shared anything about it yet. Ahead of any official announcement, the live images of the first OnePlus Turbo smartphone have leaked. They give an early glimpse of what the rumored affordable phone will look like.
This leak, which comes from Android Headlines, shows the phone from all sides. Per the leak, the display of the OnePlus Turbo will feature relatively slim bezels, which appear to be uniform on all sides. It's reportedly a 6.8-inch screen with a 144 Hz refresh rate and "1.5K" resolution.
As for the back, the leaked picture shows a dual-camera setup with an island that's a bit similar to the one on the OnePlus 15R. The pictures showcasing the sides of the phone show a metal mid-frame, and it seems that the device will sport an IR blaster.
There's still no concrete info about the other specs of the OnePlus Turbo, but per the recent reports, it will feature a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a mid-range SoC. This SoC will reportedly be paired with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
A 9,000 mAh battery is expected to power the internals of the phone, which will reportedly have support for 80 W fast charging (140 W Anker Prime charger curr. $69.99 on Amazon). Other expected features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, a 50 MP primary camera on the back, and a 32 MP selfie camera. The phone is expected to launch outside China under the OnePlus Nord branding, possibly as the CE 6.
