TCL has announced the 2026 RM9L RGB Mini-LED TV. This is the brand’s first RGB Mini-LED model set for an international release. It is similar to the Q10M Ultra, released in China in September 2025.
The TCL 2026 RM9L TV was not on show at CES 2026, though some of its specifications have been confirmed in a review by What Hi-Fi?. Described by the brand as a “Premium RGB MiniLED TV”, this 4K model has a native refresh rate of 144 Hz, which can be boosted to 288Hz for gaming. It is expected to be offered in 85-inch, 98-inch and 115-inch sizes. Plus, it is said to deliver up to 9,000 nits peak brightness, with the largest screen having 16,848 local dimming zones.
TCL’s RM9L is said to cover 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut and support Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+. The brand’s UltraColor Filter, also found on the new X11L SQD-Mini LED TV, will improve contrast and color accuracy. The model comes with Google TV, through which users will be able to access various streaming services. There is also an integrated sound system from Bang & Olufsen. According to the report, this TV has a slim body which can be mounted relatively closely to the wall, or it can sit on a media unit using the accompanying stand.
When the TCL 2026 RM9L RGB Mini-LED TV will be released and how much it will cost remains to be seen. It is expected to be cheaper than the X11L, which starts from $6,999.99 for the 75-inch model.
