Hisense will launch two new RGB MiniLED TV series in 2026: the UR8 and the UR9. Also referred to as the Hisense UR8S and UR9S, these models are currently on show at CES 2026. They follow on from the brand’s first RGB MiniLED TV, the 116UX (curr. $29,999.99 at Amazon Marketplace), and will be offered in a range of sizes from 55 inches to 100 inches.
The Hisense UR8 and UR9 are 4K TVs offering an up to 180 Hz refresh rate. This can be boosted up to 300 Hz for PC gaming, though resolution drops to 1080p; the company has stated that 300 Hz will not be possible when gaming on a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox. According to the company, these TVs cover 100% of the BT.2020 color gamut and support the new Dolby Vision 2 format.
Hisense’s new UR8 and UR9 TVs are powered by its latest Hi-View AI Engine RGB, running Vidda OS in Europe and Google TV in the US. They each come with Devialet-tuned audio systems and a relatively slim unibody measuring 45 mm (~1.77 inches) thick. Further specifications, including the peak brightness levels and number of local dimming zones, have yet to be confirmed. Plus, the company has yet to make it clear how these two models will differ from each other.
The Hisense UR8 and UR9 RGB MiniLED TVs will be released in North America and Europe later in 2026. The company has yet to confirm a launch date or the pricing of these two new models, though they are expected to be cheaper than the 116UX, with the company stating that it wants to make “high-performance color widely accessible.”
