Hisense is showing its new 163MX RGBY MicroLED Display at CES 2026. This ultra-large model, which can be used as a TV, has been named a CES 2026 Best of Innovation Award winner at the event. It follows on from the 163-inch UX MicroLED TV, which was launched in China in 2025.
The Hisense 163MX is the first model from the brand to use its new RGBY (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow) MicroLED technology. This is said to “fill the critical spectral gap between 500 - 600nm”, with resulting benefits like improved color accuracy. According to the company, it covers up to 100% of the BT.2020 color space.
The 163-inch screen is also said to have a streamlined body, measuring 32 mm (~1.26 inches) thick, and can be mounted to the wall with little to no gap. Further specifications of Hisense’s 163MX, such as its peak brightness level, contrast ratio, operating system and ports, have yet to be confirmed by the company.
It remains to be seen when the Hisense 163MX RGBY MicroLED TV will be released, and at what price. For context, the largest TV currently available from the brand in the US is a 116-inch model like the U7 Mini-LED (curr. $21,999.99 at Amazon Marketplace).
