Bluetti unveils FridgePower portable power station on Kickstarter with launch discount

Bluetti has launched the FridgePower ultra-slim portable power station on Kickstarter. The company’s new power station is specifically built for household refrigerators. With a simple plug-and-play design, the FridgePower features a very compact design. Dimensionally, it measures 580 x 350 x 75 mm (22.83 x 13.78 x 2.95 inches) and weighs around 17.3 kg (37.9 lbs).
Speaking about battery capacity, the FridgePower sports a 2,016 Wh LiFePO₄ battery. Like the Bluetti Pioneer Na sodium-ion battery, the gadget’s LiFePO₄ battery has been rated for 4,000 discharge cycles. Interestingly, it's expandable up to a massive 8,064 Wh capacity, thanks to three BlueCell 200 expansion batteries. According to Bluetti, the power station can offer four full days of backup with expansion batteries. On top of that, it features a 10 ms UPS switchover, which ensures uninterrupted operation during sudden outages.
Furthermore, Bluetti’s latest offering is designed to operate reliably in extreme cold down to -20° C/-4 °F, said the company in its press release. You can also tweak the power station’s settings and monitor overall performance via the Bluetti companion app. Alternatively, it is also compatible with the Display 1 magnetic screen, which further offers detailed insights. Consumers can also control the device directly via voice commands (Alexa, Home Assistant, and Google Home).
As for price, the Bluetti FridgePower standalone unit starts at $759, thanks to the super early bird price offer. There are several other bundles also available, including Plus (1x FridgePower, 1x BlueCell 200), Pro (1x FridgePower, 2x BlueCell 200), and Max (1x FridgePower, 3x BlueCell 200), and they are priced at $1,398, $2,097, and $2,699, respectively. The portable power station is now available on Kickstarter with shipments expected to begin in early June.
