€1,100 off: Bluetti Elite 400 XXL power station with nearly 4 kWh officially launches
The Bluetti Elite 400, which was announced recently, has officially hit the market. As of a short while ago, the XXL power station can be ordered directly from the manufacturer. Although it has a recommended retail price of €2,999, the company is offering a launch discount of €1,100, reducing the price to just €1,899.
Priced above the recently released Bluetti Elite 300, the Bluetti Elite 400 has a capacity of 3,840 Wh — nearly 4 kWh. This is enough to power various household appliances for extended periods: for instance, a 1,200 W power tool can run for almost three hours.
The Elite 400 can handle such tasks by delivering up to 2,600 W of nominal power (with a 3,900 W peak). Power is delivered via two AC outlets on the front of the unit. The front panel also features various other ports, including USB-A/C with up to 120 W and a 12 V car outlet (cigarette lighter).
The solar generator can be charged at up to 3,300 W when combining AC and DC inputs, while solar panels alone can provide a maximum input of 1,000 W. Additional features of the Bluetti Elite 400 include app control via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, as well as a UPS function for an uninterruptible power supply—though both are standard features even in more affordable models today.
As is typical with power stations, high capacity comes at the cost of weight. The Bluetti Elite 400 weighs in at around 39 kg. While heavy, it is still lighter than many other 4 kWh solar generators on the market. To assist with handling, the unit is equipped with two wheels at the rear, two sturdy handles on the sides, and an extendable telescopic handle.
