Jackery launches new FridgeGuard power station to take on Bluetti's FridgePower

Jacker, a portable power solutions manufacturer, has unveiled its latest portable power station, the FridgeGuard. The company’s new portable power station is advertised as the world’s slimmest refrigerator backup battery. Dimensionally, it measures 23.6 x 12.8 x 2.63 inches (599.44 x 325.12 x 66.8 mm) and weighs around 23 lbs (10.4 kg). For context, its direct rival, the Bluetti FridgePower, comes in at 580 x 350 x 75 mm (22.83 x 13.78 x 2.95 inches) and boasts almost double battery capacity compared to the Jackery FridgeGuard.
The FridgeGuard sports a 1,024 mAh LiFePO₄ battery, which is said to deliver 1,600 W of maximum output. Plus, the gadget’s battery has been rated for 6,000 charge cycles. Interestingly, the portable power station is expandable up to 2,048 Wh via a battery pack. According to the company, the FridgeGuard can provide up to 15 hours of backup power. In comparison, Bluetti’s FridgePower offers massive 8,064 Wh expansion capabilities with four full days of backup.
On top of these features, it has 10 ms UPS switchover, which ensures uninterrupted operation during sudden outages. There’s a bypass mode that directs grid power straight to the refrigerator once the battery reaches a full charge. Moreover, you can monitor the performance and tweak settings of the power station through the Jackery companion app. Alternatively, there’s a small LCD display, which showcases essential information about the gadget.
As for price, the Jackery FridgeGuard is priced at $699.99. Interested buyers can purchase the portable power station directly via Jackery’s official website. Alongside, the company has also launched the HomePower series, and we already covered all the models separately. You can read about them here.
