DJI launches the Power Auro 2000 Elite with 2,000W output and 2kWh battery

DJI has announced the release of the DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite in China, a portable power station currently priced at 4,799 Yuans (approximately $715). The device features a 2kWh capacity and is constructed with a chassis that is 24 percent smaller by volume and 14 percent lighter than the standard DJI Power 2000 model. It provides a continuous power output of up to 2,000W via a pure sine wave inverter, which is designed to maintain a stable output regardless of the battery level.

Internally, the unit relies on lithium iron phosphate cells. Its exterior includes a sub-nano coating to shield internal components from moisture and salt spray, a 5VB flame-retardant enclosure, and a structure rated to support a static load of up to one ton.

The DJI Power Auro 2000 Elite integrates a built-in 600W car charger and a Maximum Power Point Tracking module, allowing direct connections to car batteries or solar panels without the need for external adapters. The hardware includes dual 600W SDC ports for simultaneous solar and vehicular power input, while charging via a standard AC grid connection brings the battery to 100 percent in 75 minutes.

Additionally, the unit is equipped with a 0.8-meter retractable USB-C cable that supports 140W PD 3.1 fast charging for compatible devices, delivering output comparable to dedicated high-power wall adapters such as the Satechi 140W GaN Fast Charger and the Nexode Pro 160W charger.

The system connects to the DJI Home app for status monitoring and charging mode selection. The station also features an Uninterruptible Power Supply mode that operates at a noise level below 30 decibels under low-load conditions. To increase total capacity, the setup supports the addition of up to five expansion batteries, raising the maximum storage limit to 12 kWh.
