The EcoFlow Delta 3 1000 Air Portable Power Station is now available in the US. This model is designed to act as a home backup in case of a power outage, and it is said to be compatible with 99% of home appliances.
The Delta 3 1000 Air has a 500W rated power output, and it can deliver up to 800W in X-Boost mode, suitable for cooking appliances like a rice cooker. There are three outputs, an AC outlet, USB-A and USB-C ports, and the status of your grid is indicated by a colored light on the front of the device. According to EcoFlow, the 960 Wh capacity battery should allow you to power devices for up to 12 hours.
There are four recharging methods for the Delta 3 1000 Air - AC, solar, generator and a car charger - with a full recharge taking as little as two hours. It is marketed with a 10ms switchover speed, and it can run quietly, generating less than 39 dB noise. Plus, you can remotely manage the power station through the EcoFlow app. This relatively compact model measures 8.7 × 8.8 × 10.4 inches (~221 x 224 x 264 mm) and weighs 22 lbs (~10.0 kg). It has a built-in handle to make it easier to transport and comes with a two-year warranty.
You can now buy the EcoFlow Delta 3 1000 Air Portable Power Station for $299, thanks to a $200 discount on the $499 RRP. It is available at the brand’s online store in the US, and customers are also currently offered a free 65W charger with their purchase. It is worth noting that the product is scheduled to ship from mid-December. Whether or when it could be released in other markets is unclear.
