Sharge is gearing up to launch its new Icemag 3 magnetic power bank. Inspired by the classic Sony Cybershot camera, this 10,000 mAh pack supports up to 25W wireless charging with active cooling and is currently available for preorder with a 15% discount.

After releasing a Macintosh-inspired charging brick and a sleek 3-in-1 power bank styled after the classic Braun Audio 300 record player, Sharge is back with another retro-themed charging accessory releasing this Thursday, November 13.

This time, the company is reviving the spirit of the classic Sony Cybershot camera with its new magnetic power bank, the Icemag 3. The updated model succeeds the Icemag 2 and promises faster charging speeds along with a set of convenient features like an integrated cable and kickstand.

Cybershot inspired transparent design

Fans of the classic Sony point-and-shoot cameras will immediately recognize the Icemag 3. It’s designed after the iconic T-Series Cybershot, which had a sliding aluminum cover to protect its camera lens.

The Icemag 3 has a similar bar, but instead of a cover, it folds out to serve as a kickstand. In place of the lens is a transparent cutout that reveals a built-in 10,000 rpm fan with RGB lighting, giving it a somewhat similar look.

Faster 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging

As we previously reported, the Icemag 3 now supports the latest Qi2.2 standard, meaning it delivers up to 25W of wireless charging, which is a solid jump from the 15W limit of the Icemag 2. Wired charging speeds also get a small boost to 35W, and Sharge has added a built-in USB-C cable on top of the regular USB-C port for extra flexibility.

Right now, only a few phones can take full advantage of 25W Qi2.2 speeds, including the iPhone 16 and 17 series (except the iPhone 16e) and the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL. The rest of the Pixel 10 lineup and older iPhones still top out at 15W. That said, with a 10,000 mAh capacity, the Icemag 3 should easily give most phones at least one full recharge before it needs topping up itself.
