Dreame launches new quieter smart air conditioner

The Dreame Y-Wind31 series air conditioners have been launched in China. The new smart home product is said to provide fresh air to your home, with “comfortable” cooling for warmer months. The company also claims that it can generate as little as 18 dB(A) noise while running.
Dreame’s Y-Wind31 is described as providing coverage of your whole home, though it is listed with an airflow rate of 40 m³/h (1,410 ft³/h). It is said to have a 7.2 m (~23.6 ft) cool air delivery range. Plus, the model is said to reduce the concentration of CO2 in the air, and an integrated HEPA filter removes pollutants like dust, pollen and pet dander from the air.
According to Dreame, the Y-Wind31 air conditioner can also function as a dehumidifier, removing up to 1.5L of water per hour. There is a 57°C (~135°F) self-cleaning mode, and it can operate in temperatures between -35 and 65°C (-31 to 149°F). An integrated light sensor ensures that the built-in screen switches off at night. Plus, users can remotely control the appliance via the brand’s smartphone app.
The Dreame Y-Wind31 series air conditioners are now available in China. It is unclear whether or not the company will release these products in markets like Europe, where it recently launched the PWind-10 portable air conditioners.
