Lenovo releases new 15-inch convertible laptop with 165 Hz OLED and 84 Wh battery

About six weeks have passed since Lenovo released the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 14IPH11 in Europe. Now, the company has updated its IdeaPad 5i offering in the same market with a larger option to replace the older Arrow Lake-based IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 that we reviewed in late 2025 (curr. $1,199 on Amazon). Specifically, it has started selling the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 15IPH11, which has been available in Australia and North America from the end of March.
The IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 15IPH11 starts with the Core Ultra 5 325 processor in Europe. Lenovo may release a cheaper Core Ultra 5 322 variant eventually though, as it now has in North America. According to our benchmarks, the Core Ultra 5 325 gets close to the CPU performance of the Core Ultra 7 355 that Lenovo also offers. For reference, the two processors feature identical iGPUs with 4 Xe3 cores.
Setting processors aside, the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 15IPH11 can be configured with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM running in dual-channel mode. Not only is this RAM user upgradeable, but so is the M.2 2242 SSD that Lenovo includes. The 15IPH11 features a second M.2 2242 slot for good measure too, unlike many 15-inch laptops.
Moreover, the convertible laptop can be configured with a 1200p, 60 Hz and 400-nit IPS display or a 1600p, 165 Hz and 500-nit OLED equivalent. The latter is considerably more colour accurate than the former at 100% DCI-P3 versus 45% NTSC colour space coverages. Lenovo offers 60 Wh or 84 Wh batteries too, though.
Currently, pricing starts at £1,190 in the UK but rises to £1,860 with a Core Ultra 7 355, 32 GB of RAM, a 1 TB SSD, an OLED display and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. By contrast, starting prices ranges between €1,219 and €1,599 before adding more powerful hardware. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
