Pixel Laptop: Return of Google laptops confirmed with Googlebooks launching this fall

Google is hosting its Android Show I/O Edition in a few hours. Specifically, the event will start at 10:00 PT (17:00 UTC). Nonetheless, a few outlets have erroneously revealed one of Google's main announcements ahead of time.
According to PC Guia and XDA Developers, Google is on the verge of returning to the laptop market with its first release in almost seven years. However, the new laptop will not revive the Pixelbook branding, nor will it be called the Pixel Laptop. Instead, both have revealed that the laptop is set to launch as the Google Googlebook.
Seemingly, the Google Googlebook is one of several 'Googlebooks' too. Based on the slide below, Acer, Asus, Dell, HP and Lenovo have all agreed to partner with Google. Despite being announced in May, the first Googlebook devices are not slated to come until late September at the earliest.
Hardware specifications remain unknown for now, too. With that being said, Google's rumoured Glowbar will make an appearance. Also, it should be possible to cast smartphone apps. Whether that feature is tied to Pixel devices like the Pixel 10 Pro or Pixel 10 Pro Fold (curr. $1,799 on Amazon) remains to be seen at this stage.
