Google is expected to launch the Pixel 11 series in August 2026, and, as with the company's past flagship phone lineups, a lot about the upcoming smartphones has leaked well before launch. A new, rather detailed leak from notable leaker Mystic Leaks shares some interesting info about the soon-to-launch phones.
The entire Pixel 11 lineup is set to see camera upgrades
Mystic Leak reports that the entire Google Pixel 11 series will see camera upgrades, including the base variant. Per the report, the standard model will come with a new primary sensor, which is likely a 50MP unit. The telephoto and the ultrawide cameras are expected to remain the same as the current-gen model (128GB curr. $599 on Amazon).
As for the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL, they are both slated to receive a bigger camera upgrade. The leak points to new primary and telephoto sensors, while the Pro Fold will also reportedly get a brand-new primary camera, but the others will seemingly remain unchanged.
Google's Pixel 11 series is slated for upgraded displays
Google has reportedly integrated upgraded displays on the Pixel 11 series. Mystic Leaks reports that the screens will be brighter than the predecessors. The vanilla model is said to sport a panel with a 3,100 nits peak brightness rating, while the current-gen phone maxes out at 3,000 nits.
Moreover, the Pro and Pro XL are said to feature a rating of 3,600 nits, while the current-gen models have a peak brightness rating of 3,300 nits. As for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the inner display will reportedly max out at 3,500 nits, while the other screen will have a rating of 3,600 nits. A recent render leak has also suggested that the lineup will feature displays with slim bezels.

All the phones could see battery downgrades
While new cameras sound nice, Mystic Leaks hints that all the phones within the Pixel 11 series will see battery downgrades. The leak suggests that the vanilla model will feature a 4,840mAh battery, the Pro a 4,707mAh battery, the Pro XL a 5,000mAh battery, and the Pro Fold a 4,658mAh battery.
It's worth noting that these are said to be "minimal" capacities, and the typical capacities will be different. Considering that the "minimal" and rated capacities are generally the same, these can be seen as downgrades from the current-gen Pixel 10 series. For reference, the vanilla phone of the current lineup has a 4,970mAh battery, the Pro a 4,870mAh battery, the Pro XL a 5,200mAh battery, and the Pro Fold a 5,015mAh battery.
Google has reportedly made interesting design changes to the Pixel 11 series
The Google Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL will reportedly miss out on the thermometer feature, which is said to be replaced by an RGB LED array. This will be similar to what Nothing did with its Phone (4a) Pro, but Google's implementation is said to be smaller.
Mystic Leaks also reports that the rumored IR face unlock feature, which is codenamed Project Toscana, is not expected to be introduced with the Pixel 11 series. It will likely be implemented on the next-gen smartphone lineup.

Other details shared in this mega Pixel 11 series leak
Mystic Leaks adds that the upcoming Tensor G6 SoC will sport a better CPU, but the GPU could be a downgrade over the G5. Interestingly, Google will reportedly launch the vanilla Pixel 10 with a base configuration that has 8GB of RAM. This could help keep the price low, given the current condition of the market, but it's unclear whether this would limit the AI features.
Per the report, there will be another configuration with 12GB of RAM, while the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold will feature up to 16GB of RAM.
