Premium Xiaomi phones with Leica cameras spotted in leaked renders before global debut

The Xiaomi 17T series is expected to be released in the global market soon. It is expected to include two devices: the standard Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. Ahead of an official announcement, high-res renders (via WinFuture) of both smartphones have surfaced online.
The Xiaomi 17T and the 17T Pro are nearly identical in appearance to their predecessors (Xiaomi 15T Pro curr. $777 on Amazon). The standard Xiaomi 17T reportedly uses a plastic frame, while the Pro model features a metal frame. Color options are the same across the lineup: black, blue, and pink. However, the 17T features noticeably lighter shades of blue and pink compared to the deeper shades seen on the 17T Pro's leaked renders.
Leaked specifications and pricing of the Xiaomi 17T series
Recently, a leak revealed key specifications and European pricing of both devices. The standard model is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, an octa-core chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512 GB of internal storage. Both devices may sport a Leica-tuned camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP zoom lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, both models are expected to feature a 32MP front camera.
The standard model may sport a 6.59-inch flat display with a resolution of 2,756 x 1,268 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 6,500 mAh battery with 67W wired charging. European pricing is tipped to start at €749 (~$875) for the Xiaomi 17T.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to use the more powerful Dimensity 9500, the same chipset found in flagships like the Oppo Find X9 Pro. It may also feature a larger 6.83-inch display with a resolution of 2,772 x 1,280 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It may pack a 7,000 mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
