Digital Chat Station on Weibo has shared details of an upcoming large-screen smartphone. The tipster has suggested it will be a performance-centric smartphone, though the exact model name remains undisclosed. It may be the Redmi K100 Pro Max, successor to the K90 Pro Max, which launched last year.

The key highlight of the upcoming device will be a 7-inch display with 2K resolution, larger than the flagship Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which sports a 6.9-inch panel. The tipster claims it will be powered by a ‘3nm chipset,' without specifying the exact name.

Additionally, the device is said to pack a battery larger than 10,000mAh. Other leaked highlights include a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance. According to the tipster, the phone will launch around the end of the year.

If this leaked phone is truly the Redmi K100 Pro Max, it could offer notable upgrades over its predecessor. For context, the Redmi K90 Pro Max featured a 6.9-inch display, a 7,560mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
