Microsoft releases new Surface Pro 12 with 64 GB RAM and cellular connectivity

Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop 8 today. As usual, Microsoft's new laptops have be joined by an upgraded Surface Pro too. This time, the company has introduced the Surface Pro 12 globally.
However, it has started with new 'for Business' models first rather than their consumer-focused siblings. Hence, the existing Surface Pro 11 with Snapdragon processors (curr. $1,099 on Amazon) is set to remain on shelves for a while longer. Snapdragon X2-backed alternatives will launch later in 2026, though.
As expected, the Surface Pro has gained Intel Panther Lake processors for its twelfth generation. Specifically, Microsoft equips the Surface Pro 12 with the Core Ultra 5 335 or Core Ultra 7 366H, as well as 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. In other words, there will be no Surface Pro 12 with Arc B390 graphics to match the Surface Laptop 8.
Setting that aside, the Surface Pro 12 is available with 120 Hz IPS or OLED displays featuring 47 Wh and 53 Wh batteries, respectively. Moreover, the 2-in-1 can be configured with optional 5G cellular connectivity from day one. Prices start at $1,949 in the US and rise to $2,249.99 just by adding cellular connectivity.
