Lenovo releases new 14-inch laptop with Intel Panther Lake and 600-nit OLED display

Lenovo has expanded its IdeaPad 5 2-in-1 offering with multiple new options. Last week, the company released the 14AGP11 based on AMD Gorgon Point APUs. Alternatively, Lenovo sells the 15AGP11 and 15IPH11 for those after a larger display size.
Now, the company has released the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (14IPH11) with Intel Panther Lake processors to replace last year's Arrow Lake-based models (curr. $499 on Amazon). Currently, the convertible is undergoing something of a slow rollout. Rather than receiving a global release simultaneously, Lenovo is only selling the device in Australia and Germany for the time being. Nonetheless, we would expect the IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 (14IPH11) to be available across North America, the rest of Europe and other markets soon.
The 14IPH11 starts with the Core Ultra 5 325 in Germany and the more powerful Core Ultra 7 355 in Australia. At the time of writing, Lenovo sells a single SKU in Germany for €1,099 that also features 16 GB of DDR5-5600 user-upgradeable RAM, a 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD, a 60 Wh battery and a 1200p IPS display with 400 nits peak brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC colour space coverage.
By contrast, the 14IPH11 retails for AUD 2,589 in Australia. While the Core Ultra 7 355 is Lenovo's only processor option, the company also offers 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and Wi-Fi 7 upgrades. Also, the 14IPH11 can be configured with a 1200p OLED display in Australia that increases colour space coverage to 100% DCI-P3 with 400 nits SDR and 600 nits HDR brightness, but only a 60 Hz refresh rate.
