New Lenovo Yoga 2-in-1 laptops released with AMD Gorgon Point and up to 32 GB RAM

Almost two months have passed since Lenovo released the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition. Available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, the Gen 11 series replaced Gen 10 predecessors (curr. $788 on Amazon) with the Core Ultra 7 355 processor from Intel's Panther Lake family.
Now, Lenovo is offering AMD-backed counterparts as the Yoga 7a 2-in-1. Also sold in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, the Yoga 7a 2-in-1 combines IPS or OLED displays with LPDDR5X-8000 RAM and 70 Wh batteries. Also, Lenovo equips 16-inch SKUs with a dedicated numberpad. Unfortunately, both sizes feature half-size up and down arrow keys.

The Yoga 7a 2-in-1 starts at £1,000 and €1,150 as a 16-inch convertible with a Ryzen AI 5 435 APU, 16 GB RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an OLED display. Meanwhile, Canada and the US have received the Ryzen AI 5 430, 16 GB RAM, a 512 GB SSD and an IPS display for CAD 1,569 and $1,129, respectively.
By contrast, the Yoga 7a 2-in-1 14-inch starts at CAD 1,799 and $1,229.99 with the Ryzen AI 5 430, 16 GB RAM, a 512 GB SSD and a 1200p OLED display. For some reason, an otherwise identical Ryzen AI 5 435 SKU has reached the Eurozone and the UK for €1,080 and £930, respectively. Incidentally, only the 14-inch version is currently available in Australia, where it starts at AUD 2,279. Please see our CES 2026 launch article for more hardware details about both sizes.
