Lenovo launches new ThinkPad 2-in-1 with up to 64 GB RAM

Lenovo has now revealed the ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1, less than a month after the 2-in-1 leaked online. As its name suggests, the ThinkPad X13 features a 13-inch display. Not only does the device rival the Surface Pro 11 in principle, but it also features the same 3:2 aspect ratio as Microsoft's popular 2-in-1 (curr. $1,049 on Amazon).
Additionally, the ThinkPad X1 Detachable Gen 1 outputs at 2.8K across its IPS panel with a 120 Hz VRR refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness and 100% sRGB colour space coverage. Moreover, Lenovo includes up to 64 GB LPDDR5x-7466 RAM, 1 TB of M.2 2242 storage and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports inside a housing that measures 290 x 210 x 9.3 mm and weighs 1.25 kg, including its keyboard folio.
Unfortunately, Lenovo installs a mere 45 Wh battery; Microsoft includes 47 Wh and 53 Wh batteries inside IPS and OLED versions of the Surface Pro 11, respectively. So far, Lenovo has confirmed that the ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1 will be available with up to 'Intel Core Ultra U7 vPro Series 3 processors. Potentially, this could be the Core Ultra 7 365 or Core Ultra 7 366H with 8 and 16 cores, respectively.
Lenovo plans to release the ThinkPad X13 Detachable Gen 1 in July across Africa, Europe and the Middle East. Pricing will start at €1,949 (~$2,291) in the Eurozone. Lenovo is yet to confirm full pricing or availability yet, though.
