Windows convertible/tablet under 800 euros: iWork GT Ultra - price-performance tip or compromise device?

With the iWork GT Ultra, Alldocube brings a Windows convertible into a price range that is otherwise dominated by Android tablets. For 799 euros (approximately US$920), the device promises a combination of productive notebook performance and flexible tablet use - including Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, a high-resolution 13-inch display, and optional accessories such as a keyboard cover and stylus. But can a comparatively inexpensive 2-in-1 device really keep up with significantly more expensive Windows alternatives?
This is where the iWork GT Ultra becomes exciting: While many convertibles in this price range tend to rely on entry-level hardware, Alldocube installs a modern processor from Intel's latest Core Ultra series. This makes the device ideal not only for simple office tasks but also for multitasking and even slightly more demanding applications. At the same time, the 2.5K display in 16:10 format should ensure sharp content and sufficient working space - a clear advantage over many cheaper tablets.
The convertible is also surprisingly versatile in terms of features. In addition to two USB-C ports, there is even a classic USB-A port, which is often missing in everyday use. Together with Windows 11, this results in a much more productive overall package than many Android competitors. It is precisely this combination that makes the iWork GT Ultra particularly interesting for users who want to work on the go without having to dig deep into their pockets.
However, the attractive price comes with a catch: weaknesses can be seen in the display and especially in the speakers. At the same time, the small cooling system is capable of cooling the Intel Core Ultra 5 125H, although the Turbo usage of the SoC is moderately limited.
Whether the iWork GT Ultra is ultimately a real insider tip or just a compromise is clarified in our detailed review.
