The affordable Alldocube Ultra Pad not only features a large IPS display, but also a powerful 15,000 mAh battery. But this is precisely where the problem lies, because despite very good battery life, more could have been possible.

The Alldocube Ultra Pad is a large Android tablet with a 12.95-inch IPS display in 16:10 format. With a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels, the panel delivers sharp images and flicker-free image reproduction, making it suitable for both multimedia content and productive work. The display also impresses with a screen-to-body ratio of 88%, giving the device a modern look, while the brightness is sufficient for indoor use in particular, but the minimum luminosity is too high.

Performance is provided by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, supported by 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and the Adreno 732 GPU, which ensures that applications run smoothly and even simple games are handled well. The internal memory of 256 GB is generously sized and can be flexibly expanded thanks to microSD expansion. The operating system is Android 15 with Alldocube OS 4.1. Updates are planned for five years, but major Android versions are not guaranteed.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB 3.2 port with wired image output. However, mobile communications, NFC, GPS and biometric security features are not included. The aluminium unibody casing looks high-quality, but at 700 grams it is relatively heavy and makes slight crackling noises when pressed hard. A stylus can be used as an option, but must be purchased separately.

Particularly noteworthy is the huge 15,000 mAh battery, which achieved a runtime of up to 18.5 hours in a practical Wi-Fi test. This sounds great at first, but a glance at the competition reveals that the efficiency is not particularly high, as a MagicPad 3 (12,450 mAh) achieves 22.5 hours with a smaller battery. If the Alldocube Ultra Pad would be more efficient, it could either offer a significantly longer runtime or use a smaller battery. The latter would then have made a lighter tablet possible.
